Introduction to Automatic Fluid Bed Dryer

Main Components:

1. Drying Chamber
   This is the core section where the fluidization process occurs. The chamber is usually made of stainless steel, ensuring heat resistance and corrosion protection.
   It includes a perforated plate or mesh that holds the material while allowing hot air to pass through.

2. Blower System
   Generates a high-pressure airflow to move the material and create the fluidized state.
   The blower is equipped with filters to ensure clean air before entering the drying chamber.

3. Heater
   Typically an electric resistance or gas-fired system, it heats the air before being introduced into the drying chamber.

4. Exhaust Air Filter
   Removes dust and fine particles from the exhaust air before releasing it into the environment, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

5. Control Panel
   Allows operation and monitoring of the drying process. Operators can adjust parameters such as temperature, airflow, spray rate, and drying time.

6. Product Discharge
   The outlet where the dried material is collected after the drying process is completed.

Working Principle:

1. Hot Air Flow
   Air is heated by the heater and blown into the drying chamber through the perforated plate.

2. Fluidization
   As the hot air passes through the material bed, particles are suspended and move freely, creating a "fluidized" state. In this condition:

• Hot air evenly contacts each particle, ensuring fast and uniform drying.

• Moisture within the material evaporates due to high temperature.

3. Exhaust Air Filtration
   Dust-laden air passes through the exhaust filter to capture fine particles before being released into the environment.

4. Product Collection
   Once the desired moisture level is achieved, the dried product is discharged through the outlet system.
