Colloid Mill, also known as a Colloid Grinder or Solution Grinding Machine (for film coating and injectable solution preparation), is manufactured by T&T MACHINERY using SUS304 and SUS316L stainless steel for all product-contact parts.

Introduction of Colloid Mill

The recirculating colloid mill is driven by a high-speed motor directly connected to a rotor with zigzag-tooth grooves. These grooves mesh precisely with the narrow gaps of the fixed stator teeth. During operation, the suspension is pumped from the feeding hopper through the grinding chamber and then recirculates back into the hopper.

This process creates a downward spiral flow combined with strong shearing force, friction, high-speed turbulence, and other physical effects, resulting in efficient dispersion, homogenization, and ultra-fine grinding of the material.
