    Basic Components:

    A complete essential oil distillation system typically includes:

    • Extractor Vessel: The main chamber that holds the raw plant material and allows steam to pass through.

    • Heating Source: May use steam boiler, electric heater, or gas burner to generate steam.

    • Steam Pipe: Transfers the steam (carrying essential oils) to the condenser.

    • Condenser: Cools down the steam mixture and condenses it into liquid form.

    • Oil Separator: Separates essential oil from water based on density differences.

    • Hydrosol Tank: Collects the aromatic water (hydrosol) after separation.
