The fluid bed dryer granulator FBDG-2 used in R&D is a widely adopted equipment in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic-chemical industries.

Fluidization principle: Powder or granules are placed in the drying chamber. Heated air is blown upward at a velocity high enough to “lift” the particles into suspension → creating a “fluidized bed” state.
Granulation: Binder solution is sprayed from the top (top spray) or bottom (bottom spray) → fine powder particles adhere to each other, forming wet granules → drying takes place inside the chamber → producing uniform granules with controlled moisture.
Small scale:
Material saving: Reduces waste compared to large-scale production.
Process simulation: Parameters (temperature, airflow, spray rate, pressure) mimic full-scale production → easy scale-up.
Easy assembly and cleaning → ideal for research with multiple formulations.
