High shear mixer with integrated wet granulator TCT-3/5 is a modern system designed for powder mixing and wet granulation in formulation research and development (R&D) and small-scale production. With a batch capacity of 3–5 kg, the machine ensures fast, uniform mixing and in-line granulation within a single system, helping save space, shorten operation time, and reduce material loss. The equipment is manufactured from SUS 316L and 304 stainless steel, fully compliant with international GMP standards.

1. Material charging
Powder is loaded into the mixing bowl; binder solution is added through the dosing hopper.
2. Mixing process
The main impeller rotates at low to medium speed to uniformly blend the entire powder mass.
The high-speed chopper disperses the binder and cuts through the material, allowing uniform wet mass formation.
3. In-line granulation
Once the desired endpoint is achieved, the wet mass is discharged directly through the integrated granulator. The granulation screen determines particle size, producing wet granules with high uniformity.
4. Product collection
The wet granules are collected and transferred to the fluid-bed dryer or tray dryer for the drying step.

After mixing, the wet mass is discharged directly through the in-line granulator without transferring to another equipment.
This shortens the process flow, reduces the number of machines required, saves cleanroom space, and optimizes investment costs.
The combination of a low–medium speed main impeller and a high-speed chopper ensures strong dispersion, allowing the binder to be distributed evenly.

Other components are constructed from SUS 304 for strength and durability.
Internal surfaces are rounded (R-edge finish) to prevent material buildup and minimize cross-contamination.

Material certificates for SUS 316L are available.
